Here we have a multistage remodel for an outstanding customer. This pool remodel, deck extension, and patio addition redesign turned out beautiful and High Priority Pools is proud to have our name on this project.
The Pool
This included a new mini pebble interior, new 6” tile on the waterline and spillway, and the latest style cleaning heads to keep the pool spotless. We started out by chipping out all the old plaster, dated tile and white pop-up heads.
The Mini pebble is Aqua White with blue glass hand cast to give it a nice bright shimmer in the sun. The homeowner chose a beautiful Spanish style tile that complimented the pebble finish, so we elected to finish the whole backsplash with one design. The outcome of these decisions was a stunning combination that our customer was incredibly satisfied with.
We removed the old paramount pv1 style heads and installed the latest pv3 heads in grey to enhance the beauty of the new color combo. Finally, we finished off the rest of the pool with all new returns and drains in grey.
The Pool Deck
The layout of the pool and surrounding deck did not provide ample space to host groups or large families. We started off by removing a pony wall and extending the deck to the back fence. This deck extension added an additional 250′ of usable space. This also included steps going down to the backyard so the homeowner could access the pool from multiple entrances. Then we added additional decking near the master bedroom so there was a direct path from the bedroom to the spa. All the concrete was grinded down, leveled and recoated with a durable latex finish. Finally, we finished it off with a tea & cream color to balance and pair the house and pool.
The Patio Extension
For the final stage of this project, we removed the original Saltillo tile from the patio and planter beds, removed all the existing rock and leveled the yard to match the concrete while adding in a very aesthetically pleasing hidden deck drain. With this installation, we went with ivory travertine in a combo pattern. Of that same travertine, we cut down to 12×12, the width of the planters, to wrap it all together.
